Lot 393, a bay colt by Newgate Farm’s Russian Revolution, out of the Pierro mare Aalto. His grandam, Miss Mooney Mooney ran 2nd to Virage De Fortune in the G2 Schweppes S. and is a half-sister to Sally’s World, the dam of Champion First Season Sire - Better Than Ready.

“Strong athletic type of horse. We were lucky enough to have Russian Revolution come through the stable here and win the G1 Galaxy and the G1 Oakleigh Plate and now he has been crowned the Leading First and Second season sire of his year.

The colt throws a lot to the dam side in terms of the Pierro. He’s very much like his sire in Russian Revolution but has the athleticism of a Piero mare. And we should see some longevity with this sort of horse.

Not only one to race at two but train on at three, four and five.”
